The Sign of Three is an original dieselpunk noir espionage thriller from The Casebook of Morgan Elliot, set in a reimagined London in 1936, where the future has arrived early and brought trouble with it.
Morgan Elliot calls herself a private investigator. In truth, she is Whitehall's undocumented fixer, a codebreaker, intelligence operative and weapon of last resort.
When a spoilt American heiress leaves Morgan's partner and a German mathematician dead, the trail leads into the glittering machinery of the Second Great Exhibition and a conspiracy above the paygrade of the impoverished British Establishment.
Concealed behind the promise of progress, a global consortium of industrialists is already devising the next world war as an investment strategy. Morgan must crack the Sign of Three before mass murder becomes the most profitable enterprise on earth.
